Description:
— Enhance and build up macroeconomic datasets on local or other
emerging markets through data mining and compilation — Maintain and
enhance pre-built up spreadsheets on macro economic indicators — Follow
up data release schedules of official data providers and maintain time
series updates accordingly — Establish close cooperation with the
selected countries official data providers (Statistical Institutions,
Central Banks, Stock Exchanges‡etc) — Prepare charts/graphs of macro
economic indicators — Attend to clients queries on our macro economic
database service.



Qualifications: •Candidate must possess
at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Economics, Statistics or
equivalent • Solid knowledge of macroeconomic statistics • Very good
command of English both written and oral communication. French knowledge
is a must • Verifiable knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
navigational capabilities • Numerate, analytical and rigorous attention
to details • Solid knowledge of macroeconomics or strong interest in
following up macro economic indicators • High sense of responsibility
and follow-up • Ability to work well in a team • Flexibility in working
hours • Ability work under pressure and tight schedule. Applicants with
previous experience on excel charts, data mining, time series, macro
economic and industrial research are encouraged to apply. One year of
relevant work experience, preferably in macro economic research is an
advantage.
